Paperworld 2019 review

As every year for the past 23, we presented our products and services to international trade visitors in Frankfurt.


As a company which offers products that are 100% made in Germany, we were able to convince people about our high-quality offerings. This corporate philosophy has been reaffirmed by our existing and valued customers.

Our main target groups when exhibiting at this fair, are European customers for sure. But we also had promising discussions with a lot of interesting procurement decision makers from other continents.

In summary, we can say that Paperworld continues to be the ideal platform to connect with new potential customers who are looking for a sustainable, resource-saving quality rebuilt toner cartridge.

For the dealers of high-quality hardcopy products, a visit is not necessarily worth it anymore, since the East Asian exhibitors, whose newbuilt cartridges cannot compete in terms of legal certainty and quality, outweigh. This is also shown by the figures published by Messe Frankfurt:

The classic stationary trade is still very well served here as a visitor.

As we needed to change location from hall 6.0 to hall 5.1 because of renovation work, we have to move again for Paperworld 2020 into the newly designed hall 6.1.


80 years Electrophotography / Xerography

The physicist and patent attorney Chester F. Carlson made the first photocopy 80 years ago (on 10/22/1938). Already in 1937 he received a patent on the "electrophotography" method, called xerography (Greek: xeros for dry and gráphein for writing, drawing) to this day in the office-everyday life indispensable. The first automatic dry copier was only available in the market in 1959. 80 years after the invention, the copier has become a digital multifunction device. Printing, scanning, copying and e-mailing are a matter of course for modern all-in-one devices.

Despite the increasing digitization, paper printouts are still an important part of offices and administrations. 68% of companies assume that at least half of their administrative processes are paper-based; only about 1% of companies are completely paperless. At the same time, paper consumption is increasing in every fifth company.

Because the required toner cartridges are now high-tech products, it is environmentally friendly and energy saving, remanufacturing them professionally. For 25 years, our passion has been to reconcile entrepreneurial action and ecological requirements with quality products that are in no way inferior to the original cartridges.


Trust-based handling of drop-shipment orders

A prerequisite for the use of the drop-shipment service in our company is placing an order via our online shop or an electronic connection to our ordering system. We make it very easy and comfortable for our customers, they just have to send a few sample data sets to Eschweiler and then our IT department takes care of programming an interface.

The feedback is consistently positive, especially since the customers benefit greatly from the improved order and logistics processes and have no additional costs

The basis for this type of order processing is the growing basis of trust between our customers and our company. Absolute discretion is one of our top priorities when dealing with sensitive customer data.

Since almost 25 years we have never sold a cartridge directly to end customers. That creates trust and it will remain that way!

Resellers who want to avoid the huge price pressure that prevails in the market could most easily achieve this by creating their own brand to make a name for themselves. A private label is available. Only one's own brand ensures that a reseller can escape the tough price competition at least to some extent. While you can find cheaper deals for almost every branded product on the internet there is no such danger with a private label product.

Staying in the background is one of the most important virtues in the private label business. We, Pedro Schöller Printservice GmbH, do not appear externally anywhere for direct deliveries to end customers.
